KJ Mr. Yeahboyy – Talkbox Minister for Christ

Born in Hammond, Louisiana, and raised in McComb, Mississippi, KJ, also known as Talkbox Minister KJ Mr. Yeahboyy, is a gifted musician, songwriter, and producer dedicated to spreading the Gospel through music. As a member of East Fernwood Baptist Church in Magnolia, MS, KJ nurtured his God-given talents under the guidance of Pastor Jimmy J. Wilson.

With a remarkable ability to play multiple instruments—including keyboard, guitar, saxophone, and drums—KJ quickly became a sought-after musician, songwriter, and producer for gospel artists and groups, including The Stellar Award-winning David R. Curry Jr. and The Mississippi Mass Choir. His music, inspired by the Holy Spirit, is crafted to uplift and glorify God.

As the co-founder of Ruffboyz Only4Jesus Record Company, KJ has produced over 10 gospel albums, working with legends like Spencer Taylor Jr. and Bishop Marvin L. Winans. He has also received prestigious honors, including the 2023 Jackson Music Award for “Musician of the Year” and the 2024 Award for “Best Recording Engineered of the Year.”

Beyond his personal success, KJ is passionate about mentoring aspiring gospel artists, ensuring that the next generation continues to make music that touches lives and wins souls for Christ. Despite facing personal battles, including overcoming depression and suicidal thoughts, his faith remains unwavering—reflected in his powerful testimony song, “Better for Me.”
