Evangelist Mewzette Stroughter-Brown
Evangelist Mewzette Stroughter-Brown, a native Californian, was born and raised in San Francisco, California. She is married to the love of her life, DJ “Leo the Lion” Brown; and to their union are three beautiful children.
Evangelist Brown as she is commonly referred to was called by God into Ministry in 2002; and was licensed by her Pastor, Dr. Lee F. Wilson, Senior Pastor of Open Bible Faith Community of San Jose, CA Church in June of 2010 to work in the Ministry of the preached Gospel. The Browns served the LORD and His people faithfully at OBFCC for 16 years as a couple; and continue to worship and serve currently at the Well Christian Community Church of Livermore, CA, where Pastor Napoleon Kaufman is the Senior Pastor. At The Well, Evangelist Brown joyfully serves on the Worship Team as a Worship Leader, on the Intercessory Prayer Ministry Team, and participates in Outreach and Prison Ministries. She has a passion for sharing the Truth of the Gospel message of Jesus Christ; whether in teaching or preaching formats; and loves to encourage the heart of the believer towards developing a deeper relationship with God; as well as sharing Jesus with those in need of salvation and deliverance by establishing faith in Jesus Christ. She is a worshipper and a servant at heart and loves to bless the LORD and His people with songs of praise; poetry and words of inspiration.
Her favorite passages in the bible are:
I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. 2 My soul shall make its boast in the Lord; the humble shall hear of it and be glad. 3 Oh, magnify the Lord with me, And let us exalt His name together.
